Alex Corbett | Assignment 4B

Alex Corbett in the thesis, “Impacting the Mind and the City Through Sustainable Urbanism,” explains that public space within the urban context cannot only be beneficial for the city but also the mind. Corbett supports his thesis by illustrating past case studies and outlining specific problems caused by our cities. The author’s purpose is to show that these environments can be created in order to work towards improving not only our planet but our minds as well. The author writes in a formal tone for educated architects and city planners.
