This thesis aims to rethink the notion of public space and voids that are created in the city by bringing the natural environment to the built environment. This idea brings life and use to the spaces that were left over or forgotten about by recapturing the void with functional space or by creating a use for an abandoned structure so that the historical character will remain, but function will exist.
