Jarzombek’s purpose is have effect on teachings in which students would be put on the forefront of global issues and become aware of their global footprint. In Carla Keyvanian’s “Teaching History to Architects” (2011) she argues that historical theory should be more deeply involved in studio coursework. Keyvanian supports her request through analyzing revelavence of historical pieces of architecture and how there ideas have worked into contemporary works implying that certain architectural ideas that have been used will continue to relevant. Keyvanian’s purpose is annunciate the importance of the link from historical architectural ideas to contemporary education and design. The authors audience for this article is to current the educators in schools today to be passed down to the students they teach.
